or perhaps Russia invaded a sovereign nation without provocation (not wanting to be your friend isn’t sufficient) whereas on the other hand a terrorist ruled enclave sent 100s of murderers across a sovereign nation’s border to slaughter, pillage, rape and kidnap that nation’s civilians?
Presumably you would not want Australia to respond militarily if 100s of Aussie men, women and children were captured and held prisoner by a rogue enclave because innocent civilians would be casualties?
