Do you truly believe western countries aren't offing their political opponents all around the world on the regular?? Yes buttercups, the West also off people - including journalists and those who threaten their reign - and are quite fond of coups to install their puppets.
(btw this is exactly what happened in Ukraine, Zelensky being their puppet)
