Only a small amount of Ukrainians escaped when Azov themselves made the decision to retreat, thousands were left to die and thousands more surrendered and there is possibly more still hiding waiting for the inevitable. Hopefully they surrender now the Azov barrier troops have fled, at least in Russian hands they'll have food, warmth and safe from the barrier troops.

Avdiivka was supposed to be near impregnable, we were told. It was definitely one of (if not the most) fortified places in Europe.

Mariupol was a superb victory by the Russians, as was Bakhmut, but Avdiivka tops them all.

It's yet another stunning victory for the Russians, led by the very talented Colonel General Andrey Nikolayevich Mordvichev, that will be studied in war colleges for centuries.

Ukraine should surrender immediately but the likes of Nuland/Blinken won't want peace, there is still thousands of Ukrainian Christian men to be eliminated which appears to the excite them both.
