I've googled the topic and have found no evidence that Putin's objective was to conquer Ukraine.
The only two objectives he talked about are denazification and demilitarization.
Considering the current situation on the ground, it looks like the achievement of both of these objectives is in progress.
Another objective that he mentioned was to prevent Ukraine from joining NATO. And this has definitely been achieved.
