I can provide multiple examples from all over world's media, where certain reporters, journalists, politicians made predictions that didn't eventuate.
In fact, I believe one of Ukraine's military leaders made several claims regarding the "war will by over by (__insert date here___). None of that ever eventuated.
Back in September 2023, Zelensky promised to liberate three cities (including Bakhmut), hinting that his military leaders have some sort of a "very very comprehensive plan". At this stage it appears that the plan was to liberate the cities from Ukrainian Army presence.
