Alexei Navalny's mother has been denied entry to the morgue where his body is being kept, his spokesperson has said.
Kira Yarmysh said Lyudmila Navalnaya arrived at the morgue with his lawyers early in the morning, but were not allowed to go in.
"One of the lawyers was literally pushed out," she wrote on X.
"When the staff was asked if Alexei's body was there, they did not answer."
Vladimir Putin is a "monster" and has "killed again", the wife of Alexander Litvinenko has said this morning.
Marina Litvinenko's husband died in 2006 after drinking tea poisoned with radioactive polonium-210.
Before fleeing Russia and being given British nationality, Mr Litvinenko had accused Mr Putin of corruption and blamed him for a number of bombings which helped start the Second Chechen War in 1999.
The former Russian FSB agent's murder was suspected to have been personally signed off by Mr Putin, but Russia has always denied any involvement.
