Mercenaries do not exists in such numbers for to engage state army in Great China at that age. Nor do they ever qualify to fight for any Kings or Emperor.
Mercenaries thru out human history r only employed as caravan guards and trivial tasks. At their peak such as being employed by Hannibal or Byzantine empire they never stand one vs one like Wagners vs worthless ukkie state troops armed by 30+ north atlantic terrorist organisation
