But inside a jail cell - he was in no way a threat to Putin. Even at the peak of Navalny's career, he only had about 2-4% support. And now? Hardly anybody cares about him.
The collective west has more to gain from Navalny's death than Putin does. Look at how all of the world's anti-Russian biased media started to beat their "more funding for Ukraine" drum on the back of Navalny's death story. The timing is purely coincidental as well.
