Should be about right. 42k dead r pretty much a very very accurate estimate in my opinion.
10k on the initial fight spread across 6 attack points on 2022. At least 10-20k in Bakhmut, which r most likely the 8k inmates who r assigned into Wagners as mercenaries.
Adikva is late game siege, would be very focus on shelling definitely no more than 5k there. Miscellaneous casualties all over the place over the 2 years period wouldve account for at least 5-10k
42k isnt that high really. I wouldve expect slightly closer to 50k. Wagners + fresh inmates likely make up half of those numbers. So ure looking at about 20k ish professional soldiers.
Considering Russia exterminated the whole generation of ukkie males. Take 40 mil pop cut it in half removing the females, yada yada.
Bout 500k - 1 mil ukkie dead fits the facts. Back to the widely accepted 1:10:20 ratio.
With the lack of medical supplies and expertise + the ukkies regularly abandons their wounded for dead, ull definitely looking at 50%+ fatalities, far higher than the normal rate, whatever it is at 10-20% wounded
