And despite the US sanctions, there hasn't been a regime change
there yet which was the purpose of the US sanctions.
Talk about interfering with the domestic politics of a foreign country...eh?
But of course this thread is about the Ukraine War and IMO there is no
verifiable evidence that US LED ECONOMIC SANCTIONS it is achieving its goals of
civil unrest leading to regime change in Russia
While this war has strengthened NATO it has also strengthened the BRICS
and in particular the China-Russian relationship.
No doubt any country who has issues with the USA will want to decouple
its finance/capital markets/trade clearing regime from that controlled by the USA
and/or the USD.
