Wrong. As the tweet simply explains, Nato was never a threat to Putin, but Nato would prevent Putin's imperialist fantasies of invading an conquering neighbouring countries, as he is failing to do in Ukraine.
This is evidenced by the fact that Russia has never attacked a Nato nation.
