It was the choices made by Western politicians that provoked the invasion.

It's easier to detract and ignore one's own repeated murderous deeds by focusing on someone else's 'crimes'. In recent history, it seems the west's hands are bloodier.

In any event, two wrongs don't make a right but do leave behind masses of dead people and scorched and damaged land and property. And yet parts of humanity has the hide to sing about love and peace?

Guess L. Tolstoy's 'War and Peace' continues to reach beyond borders 150 odd years on - today we're more 'civilized' or are we - just different faces dressed in different uniforms but similar egoists responsible for the continued spillage of blood. But it's always somebody else's fault. AIMO

Of course the article you quoted from, Sweetsound, is a vile piece of anti Russia propaganda.

Equating the alleged deeds - what deeds? - of so-called Russian war mongers - who exactly? - with the well documented UNPROVOKED wars started by the US.

But I fully agree with the sentiments you yourself expressed!
