Vladimir Putin's foreign intelligence service has claimed the US is trying to meddle in Russia's presidential election.
Russians are heading to the polls this week in an election that has almost certainly already been decided, with Mr Putin set to remain in power.
The country's Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) today accused Washington of plotting to launch an attack on the remote voting system.
Russia itself has been accused of meddling in the 2016 US election.
It was said to have hacked the Hillary Clinton campaign, probed state voter databases for insecurities, released politically damaging information on the internet, shared propaganda on social media, and more.
