WHY WOULD ANYONE AGREE TO THAT ?
The expectation of russia that they have a perfect right to expect control over Ukraine is completely illogical .

You tried to push the silly argument that Ukraine posed a threat to russia which gave them the right ......which if carried to it's logical paralel would see Transnistria invaded long back which is far closer to western capitols and more strategic than Ukraine is to Moscow .....but you completely lack the capacity for that sort of objectivity .

the issue is russian power is being curtailed to within their own borders ......where it belongs .
If russian influence extends beyond it , it should be by the choice of any country .....as with NATO where countries seek membership ....never forced on anyone .....there was never the slightest pressure put on countries not joining NATO and some still haven't


Any sensible moral person undersstand these things .

Further more .....not only has russia no RIGHT .....neither have they the power to hold an empire .
