The only thing is that in reality they aren't fighting for their territories. They are fighting for NATO's expansionist ambitions, as well as profit/influence expansionist ambitions of multinational corporations, that have and will be profiting from Ukrainian deaths for years to come even after the war is over.
As a pro-Ukrainian, the future of Ukraine should be your first priority. And the fact is, the longer this war continues, the more territories Ukrainians are going to lose and the more Ukrainians will die, the more debt will be piled onto the backs of future Ukrainian generations.
People who believe that Ukraine can win and restore their 1991 borders are deluded. People that believe that US/EU are going to keep loaning money to Ukraine indefinitely, are deluded. And those who believe that if Ukraine wins - all is going to be fine and dandy for them - are deluded to a point of insanity.
