'People are so tired of all these lies,' former Russian PM says of Putin's rule

Mikhail Kasyanov, former PM of Russia has just been speaking to Sky News about the country's election.

He left Russia shortly after it launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022 and was designated a "foreign agent" by the Kremlin in late last year.

Speaking from Latvia, he told Sky News the protests and vandalism seen at polling booths today made it "clear that people are so tired of all these lies, all this pressure.

"There does appear to be some brave people," he said of those behind the incidents.
