"...but they are fed a constant stream of propaganda..."

Same type of anti-Russian propaganda that's rampant all throughout YouTube?

I came across a video today, which talked about the capture of the city of Belgorod, as if it has already happened. A complete fabrication, supported by old pics/vids and pics/vids that were exposed to be geolocated to Ukrainian villages.

At the same time, most pro-Russian channels have been de-platformed, or are in the process of being de-platformed, simply because their narrative goes against the anti-Russian agenda. No fakes, no misrepresentations, just different views and opinions.

By the way, YouTube isn't exactly banned in Russia. So the Russian population is definitely well-exposed to the alternative reality that's being presented by the US/EU corporate-owned mass media in one way or another.

Telegram (currently the 2nd largest social media platform by monthly usage in Russia) isn't exactly banned either. It's one of the least censored platforms out there today.

In fact almost half of all the Russians get their news from social media. So saying that Russians don't have a choice to access any other information other than the state-owned-media propaganda is plain wrong. Your comparison of the situation to nazi Germany is incorrect.
