In the world of Great Powers' Geopolitics there are
no principles set in stone because Great Powers
simply do what they can to maintain/extend their
Sphere's of Influence.

The history of the Cold War (1945-1991) indicates
that the USA was the USSR's #1 enemy and IMO
nothing much has changed since then.

IMO this is a war that could have been avoided
with a better outcome than any in prospect post
this war by a long shot.

Wars post WW2 have not had very good outcomes
for native peoples and why should we expect that
this one will be any better...on the contrary, its more likely
than not that this war will have a worse outcome than other
post WW2 wars that the US has had a hand in.
