Russian court 'rejects Navalny mother's case' alleging improper medical care

A Russian court has rejected a lawsuit by Lyudmila Navalnaya, the mother of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny, over improper medical care, according to a former ally of the Putin critic.

The court - in the city of Labytnangi - rejected the claim today, Ivan Zhdanov said.

Alexei Navalny, Vladimir Putin's most prominent domestic
opponent, died last month, aged 47, in an Arctic penal colony in controversial circumstances.
