Regarding the drone strike on Engels-2 my loose understanding is that maybe 4 drones were stopped by the base itself.
Huge secondary explosions are not needed to destroy bomber aircraft. Putting holes in them is sufficient to stop them flying.
Removing some Tupilov 160s would be a big bonus but we have to wait and see.
