Logic. So, America along with many other countries issue warnings to their citizens abroad about possible terror attacks in Russia a couple weeks prior to these events happening. Russia claims to have foiled an ISIS terror attack a few days later (hint, hint, seems they're active in Russia) So, now all of a sudden the US along with Ukraine pulled off a terror attack in Russia without Russian intelligence agencies getting wind of it, despite the US giving the scare info they had. Does Russia now rely on America for intelligence in their own country? lol.
The ones detained are all Russian citizens. You'd think if the US was involved they'd give them better firearms, maybe AK12's that haven't been converted from blank fire to live fire. Given the small bits of evidence coming out theres a higher chance these dudes are linked to ISIS through other Chechen extremest groups.
My question to you. What does America and Ukraine gain from carrying out something like this? It does zero to benefit the US, zero. Bigger chance the US blew up the nord stream than help orchestrate an attack like this.
