if you ar talking about loss of men .....russia is losing a lot more than Urkaine ....you can't treat the losses as equal I didn't use the term "decimation" just pointed out the weakness of the argument - russia have actually experienced a loss of about half of their fighting men , not 10%
Uraine are careful to not everly risk their smaller resource
the deciding factor for this war is more likely rsources , weaponry and economic issues ......how the war concludes depends on the support given from the west to Ukraine At the any other time in US history what the republiicans in congress are doing in opposing aid to Ukraine would have been unthinkable - republican senators have supported ....it's just the trumpards in congress working so hard against their countries interest for the sake of attempting to get trump elected again pretty disgusting ,partisan and simply unpatriotic .
