All debatable. There's plenty of evidence that shows that it was the protesters (or a certain group within the protest movement) that initiated and escalated the violence against the police. Irrelevant any way. You admitted that there was violence.

Yanukovich did not abandon his presidency. He was ousted in a manner that breached the Ukrainian constitution. The ousting of Yanukovich was unlawful.
