If a country is as you describe then how are the ordinary civilians in Russia so united and resilient in the face of a huge assault from the rest of the world. If you were inherently evil or controlled by evil intentions then you quickly descend into chaos. So quite the contrary, it would appear that Russians are morally and ethically more superior to the rest of the world.

Granted that to fight against a morally bankrupted adversary, you yourself must fight to survive.
