And the reality is that the NATO forces are depleted now so if Vlad decides he is going to go beyond Ukraine now he will have a very well equipped battle hardened army. Have a look at NATO, how many troops etc do they have that are ready to go.
NATO's air power probably stops Vlad taking the next step but I think things have escalated. Dangerous times.
