here is another example where expensive systems are easily overwhelmed ..

"We are working with companies... to try to invest in smaller, very effective, but less expensive types of UAS [unmanned aircraft systems] and counter UAS systems,"......
........concerns about the US Navy shooting costly surface-to-air missiles to down inexpensive drones launched by the Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) toward the Red Sea.

.......the US Navy had launched around 100 Standard Missiles to counter Yemeni drones and anti-ship missiles. This cost means that the US has spent at least $210,000,000 worth of missiles in a span of a few weeks. On the other hand, the YAF has launched, what has been described by US generals, as "cheap" drones and missiles

hilarious - it costs the americans $2m to shoot down a drone, that anyone can buy from alibaba (with free postage and handling for orders over $20) ... and how soon would america run of of these $2m projectiles ??

here is a story about useless , and expensive, american made drones - which have been supplied to ukraine

US glitchy, expensive UAVs for Ukraine fail to change course

The Wall Street Journal reported on the faulty nature of American UAVs that were sent to Ukraine to shift the tide in the war against Russia but ultimately failed.
According to the report, Silicon Valley company Skydio supplied the Ukrainian army with a fleet of drones to support the frontlines against Russian forces, however, due to Russia's advanced electronic warfare system, the drones malfunctioned, went off course, and got lost
    .

Ukraine was then forced to purchase tens of thousands of drones or spare parts from China, which stood at a lower price point for better quality, the report claimed.

Consequently, Ukraine was able to manufacture its own small UAVs to carry explosives or larger ones. It utilizes at least 10,000 drones per month, which would not have been sustainable if it were to purchase expensive and defective US-grown UAVs

and in relation to any amount of artillery shells, guns blah blah that america/europe might hope to produce in the future .. they will never never never be able to match what the russians/iranians/chinese and north koreans would be able to produce
interesting to see what some guy was saying 10 years ago and compare to what happened further down the track (ie the present) .. mmm mmm and it seems that st poots, as always, was portrayed as real bad dude ... good comment about commentary made by obama..

anyway, as it is, the plebs tend to believe our media - where st poots/russia = bad guys .. and launched a full scale invasion against ukraine on feb24 2022 ... and zels is a inspiring hero, fighting for democracy freedom blah blah blah blah blah ...

(when history is written, zels will be a footnote - and st poots will be up in heaven, providing sane advice to the spirit guy up there )
