Why would the Ukkies (or anyone else for that matter) think that the russians are going to give up on their stated objectives?
Even with the support of Nato the Ukraine has not been able to recover any meaningful gains since this war started.
There will eventually come a point in time where military support for the current regime in the Ukraine will fade.
Just like every war, once the banker’s profits dry up so does the political enthusiasm.
