We like the Europeans live in a capitalist world where self-interest is supreme (ask any American) yet in some weird way we expect all kinds of altruism including the ultimate which is that others die in a war to pander to ideology. Surely survival is everything .....otherwise mankind would have been wiped out hundreds of thousands ago.
That said, I realise that there are many death cultists on these threads who think otherwise but who are too cowardly to sign up and face the battlefield enemy .
