Could have been so much different if they had accepted the Russian "olive branch" a few years ago. Easy as that you think. You mean the disguised 'olive branch' which was actually a big heavy club with filthy spikes on it wielded by Putin and aimed at Ukraine's head ? Why don't you give us the detail and conditions of the said big heavy club and remind us all it had to be on Putin's unacceptable terms ? Besides, who'd trust him to honour any agreement given his extensive track record of violation of previous undertakings and agreements ?
