We have spent 10s of billions fighting US wars: -Korea -Vietnam -Iraq -Afghanistan -Syria And now we are itching to get involved in the Ukraine war.
IMO it would have been better to save all that money and defensively am ourselves including developing our own Nukes, rather tan outsourcing that to Uncle Sam who no doubt when the Chips are down, he will put US interests first.
Pissfart nations such as Pakistan , North Korea and Israel have Nukes as a sure form of defence and here we are paying $400 Billion for a handful of UD Nuclear powered Subs not Nuke armed but still under the C&C of the USA....nice one Uncle Sam!
Perhaps we should try this gig on NZ: Offer NZ a handful of Adelaide Frigates for a lazy $100 Billion yet retain C&C over them ... sheep as hell....eh?
