"..."coup plotters" is a strange way to describe ordinary protesters...." Unsubstantiated, false statement. Not all of the protesters were ordinary. A lot of them actually "steered" and ultimately "escalated" the protests, which led to an escalation of violence. Which led to an overthrow of a democratically elected government.
"...Yanukovych had already abandoned the presidency..." This is a deliberate, provocative misrepresentation. Ynukovich did not abandon his presidency. He was forced to hide out, as a result of threats of physical violence. While he was in hiding, Rada rushed through an unconstitutional procedure, removing a democratically elected president illegally and without the input of the wider Ukrainian population.
