Destroying Russian AD as Ukraine have been doing just opens up so many more target opportunities, hence the successful refinery strikes in Russia, Putin simply does not have enough AD to protect everything.
Obviously, greatly reducing Russian AD will make operating F-16s that more effective. I hope the F-16s come with the missiles and bombs that make them so impactful, otherwise their impact will be limited unfortunately.
Good points there Tangs re the Black Sea fleet, Ukraine has been doing well shaping the Crimea battlefield for some time, most visible as you note is the humiliation of Putin's Black Sea fleet, with so many major ships lost, a big chunk of what would have protected Crimea is now absent. This victory will become much more apparent later on.
