He stated clearly he ONLY SUSPENDED the Association Accord with the EU, in order to get a better offer, and was also hoping to sign a Strategic Economic Partnership with Russia.

So he was really after both "ECONOMIC" deals. Not selecting ONE and Exclude the Other. He was seeking a peaceful union between EU, Ukraine and Russia.

Which is what leaders in any country should do. Note, we in Australia have plenty of Economic deals with different regions of the World: we sign trade deals with China, ASEAN, RCEP, EU, US, Japan, etc etc etc.

Of course, the people who carried out the coup in Ukraine, DON'T WANT THESE INCONVENIENT FACTS TO GET OUT. Your handler in Kiev will be upset with this.
