AS TO THE LAST ...QUITE TRUE ......except those countries are not actively killing off their younger generation in a war as russia are to exacrbate that problem

but there are alliances and there are alliances .....BRICS is extremely loose - don't act as a block
after Pakistan China would be regarded as Indias biggest enemy - the reason India partnerted with the west to join QUAD - and now western made weapons for India too .....so the relationship with russia weakens as russias asociation with China grows

not that China are supplying weapons for russia or even voting infavour of russia in the UN but instead abstaining...Chinese support is lukewarm and keeping their options open

so BRICS really is very much a red herring - the real allies of russia are Iran and North Korea

SANCTIONS - interest rate in rusisa 16%, inflation , weak rouble , SWIFT , increased cost for manufacturers to obtain arts through third countries and Gazprom loss say otherwise .....sanctions are leaking for sure ....but ARE having a big effect on russia still .
