IMO you are being selective with the truth, mate.
This war has its origin in 2014 when Russia annexed
the Crimea and started to support the civil war separatists in Donbas .
On that reckoning , Russia now controls 18% of what was
once the Ukraine and , IMO, will likely control/complete the annexation
of the 4 mainland Oblasts.within 4 years; that is if there is not
a ceasefire/negotiated settlement in the interim.
