Yes, just typical Kremlin lies and propaganda, unable to defeat Ukraine on the battlefield they look for any irrelevant, insignificant event to try to blame Ukraine and weaken support.
The would be assassin was a Russian sympathiser based on his membership. The attempted assassination was politically motivated. Beyond these known facts, it's all just silly Kremlin desperation and speculation.
