No, there has not been any debate.
There has been one side pushing the Kremlin "coup" conspiracy lie where the coup was a result of:
- The CIA
- Nato
- The US
- The EU
- The West
- Ukraine themselves
- A mixture of these groups
And to support these wild conspiracy fantasies the evidence thus far presented has been "trust me bro, it was the CIA" and "Nuland, who does not even work for the CIA, made a phone call where nothing spoken about in the phone call happens in real life".
Laughable.
The sensible side opposing these conspiracy fantasies has consistently maintained that Yanukovych's poor decisions, one after another, lead to his voluntary abandonment of the presidency and his fleeing to Russia where ll decisions made and escape to Russia are all well documented.
So no, it has been nothing resembling a debate, that would be giving legitimacy to the side pushing the Kremlin "coup" lie when they have nothing of the sort.
Ukraine did not "lose" Crimea, Ukrainian territory isn't a set of car keys that you misplace and can't find, Putin invaded Ukraine and now occupies the territory. your attempt to minimise and deflect such a naked act of aggression by Putin can only be seen as deliberately misleading.
