Why are russia even IN Ukraine if they aren't trying to expand their boundaries ?

BTW .....what happened to russia also happened to many European countries .....when russia forced the nazis out THEY TOOK OVER CONTROL OVER THOSE COUNTRIES FROM TRHE NAZIS ......their sufferings do not excuse doijg that to others who had suffered just as much

just btw , some more history for you , 8 mikllion Ukrainians died in that war , two and a half of those were soldiers ....per head of population they siuffreedxc more and did more to win the war than the actual russians did .
