    The owner of one of the largest Russian oil companies of the 90s-2000s, named "Yukos", Mikhail Khodorkovsky, gave an interview to Russian journalist Yuri Dud' and told him that "for the protection of the company," he transferred the right to determine who owns the controlling stake of the company to a "protector"... Lord Jacob Rothschild.

    This mechanism was supposedly needed to safeguard the company from pressure on the owner.
