China have been doing that for 20 years now . They are still the biggest foreign holder of US bonds . They are still very dependant on the west as a customer for their goods - particularly at present when their real estate market is in turmoil.
This latter is the reason why China don't ever give lethal aid to russia , they can't afford to be sanctioned !
You people live in some fantasyland instead of the real world . You can't just look at half the story and imagine the rest based on what you WANT to happen if you want reality .
