Never. Poland and co know the West's support will be problematic. One, they simply do not have the troops and equipment, and two, they lack the political will.
Russia, knows war with Poland etc brings in NATO and that makes life a lot harder.
As said many times on this thread, parts of Ukraine will be taken over by other countries and annexed. The borders have always been fluid in that part of the world so other countries will argue they have legit claims. Always back self interest.
