you seem to think you have great insight .....yet you ignore the totally obvious ....

1. putin chose this war as a means of russian expansion
(which is inherently legally and morally wtong ) ...not in 2022 btw , but in 2014

2. putin is actually stealing Ukrainian territory - is trying to steal all of Ukraine

3. Ukraine are totally innocent in all this - they ARE your white hats !!!

4.the choice of whether to fight for their freedom /and for how long - is totally the sole right of Ukraine to make

while there certainly ARE geopolitical ramifications it's ridiculously two dimensional to ignore all other elements
thiking solely west vs east doesn't allow for the rights of the Ukrainian people .....or their choices in the matter

nor does it allow for russian expansonism - certainlyotherwise neutral countries have suddenly turned against russia - Sweden - because they see this as the first of putins steps .....and Switzerkland because they see how wrong putins move is

you are good with cliches but that doesn't replace considered understanding - what putin is doing now in Ukraine has all the hallmarks of what Hitler did - only the totaly blind can't see that !
