I don't disagree with you about immigration but this war also is an incredibly dangerous precedent which the west is not prepared to ignore - and for good reason ....success here by putin would beg replication and cannot be alowed ....nor can the Ukrainian people be ignored in their hour of need .

we have seen a few right wing govts elected in Europe due to immigration .....if current leaders don't heed that message they risk losing elections because of it
will of the people (except in russia )
