YOU ARE MISCONSTRUING ......putin has shown not the least bit of interesrt in negotiation .....any desire for negotiation would only be seen as weakness
he has a list of demands - nothing that doesn't include them is acceptable

yes ....Ukraine CAN keep avoiding negotiating with a man they have not the least trust in that he would keep any agreemnt he signed
this is a war of attrition after all - and Ukraine don't wish to give up those territories you'd be so happy to see russia gain

I suggested some practical ASSURANCE of peace that did not rely on a liars word .....but you don't like that idea .....because it DOES stop putin coming back again

for you people - peace is simply a way to cement russias gains in Ukraine .....not hard to see why the Ukrainian people don't want that
