IT IS ALL OVER FOR RUSSIA ..

RUSSIA IS ON ITS KNEES ..

    HUGE TAX INCREASES
    ..

    https://news.sky.com/video/ukraine-war-russia-wants-to-hike-taxes-to-fund-war-in-drastic-new-measure-13146255

interesting that the video at the above link paints a very negative picture about the increases in taxes - but does not actually mention the tax rates .. but does mention that the wealthier will pay more tax - as well as corporates

it seems that initially the tax rate will go up, from the present 13%, to 15% for higher income earners.. then eventually up to 20%.. and eventually lower income earners will also pay 15%

The changes will see the introduction of five income brackets instead of the current two. Workers who earn the equivalent of up to $26,900 a year will pay 13% tax. Those with incomes ranging from $26,900 to $56,000 a year will pay 15%; while those earning between $56,000 and $224,200 a year will pay tax at 18%. A rate of 20% will apply to taxpayers with an annual wage of between $224,200 and $560,600, and the highest earners with annual income above $560,600 will pay 22% tax.

    mmm this is interesting ..

The current gasoline price in Russia is RUB 55.86 per liter or USD 0.63 per liter and was updated on 27-May-2024. For comparison, the average price of gasoline in the world is USD 1.26 per liter.

ok, the russians pay the equivalent of about $1 per litre for petrol .. compare that to the australian price (which includes about 50c/litre excise tax) ..

more details of russian tax rates/system ..

the reality is that russia is a low tax country .. and a slight increase in taxes, to fund the SMO -is not really too much of a burden

because it is in russia , the western media will give very little coverage of the upcoming St Petersburg International Economic Forum (ieSPIEF) .. but there will be more world leaders, business people etc etc at the SPIEF, than at davos

mmm and what does all of this have to do with the price of eggs ?????

In the southern city of Belgorod, people waited in line at a small market to buy 10 eggs for 65 rubles ($0.72), compared to the supermarket price of 10 for 150 rubles ($1.67), according to the report.

add 50% to convert american $$$$'s into australian $$$$'s ..

it seems that because of sanctions, egg prices have increased by 40% in the last year ... mmm there are no sanctions in australia - and yet the price of eggs, in australia have increased by more
