America has shown zero caution to Russia - they were told / advised by their OWN advisors back in the 90's that NATO expansion would be viewed as an existential threat to Russia and yet they have continued

As to nuclear weapons - if Russia was set up in Mexico or Canada then that too would be seen as an existential threat to America and America too would be making Russia aware that nukes are therefore very much "on the table"

Naiveness in trying to win a lame argument is "so you" and it really does affect your credibility
