Its interesting that more diverse planes are needed - 1990s era construction recently retired jets are better than nothing... A game changer perhaps not but will help to delay the end of the game in the air.
Ukraine had a couple of hundred planes when the war began.
Why would they diversify to operate both F-16 and Mirage 2000 I wonder? I would have thought there were thousands of old F-16s and standardization of training, parts and logistics would have some advantages.. Maybe the UAF pilots dont rate the old F-16s and thought they would try another old plane?
I dont think Russia will fear the old Mirages a great deal. Still a useful jet though.
