Stoltenberg and few NATO countries, including the USA still keep dangling the carrot of the NATO membership. There will not be peace, until the USA chucks the carrot away.
Military operation in 2022 made sure that Ukraine is not considered a member, because of the ongoing conflict. Unfortunately, for Ukraine, the only way out of the NATO picture was a military conflict. What is missing is the USA signing a document stating that Ukraine will never become a NATO member.
Death and destruction until the signature from Washington.
