I know that in your mind you have gone over this before
but IMO you have drawn the wrong conclusion because
the USA does not feature in either India's trade (Imports or exports)

If you are posting on what is predominantly an economics (ASX Share Trading) blog,
then surely you realise that over time that economics trumps politics and over an
even longer period determines military might. (hence the US led economic sanctions on China and Russia)
