The sanctions haven't (yet) achieved their gol:
-that is to cripple the Russian economy causing social unrest and debunking the Putin regime
with the hope of a change in policy to see Russia withdrawing its troops from the Ukraine (best case scenario)
-or at least weakening Russia's ability to supply war materials to the front the UAF a strategic advantage
on the battle front (worse case scenario)
As such sanctions have failed and instead backfired on the west by causing rampant inflation
due to increased energy costs...Even Aus has not been exempt from the economic ravages
of inflation which is still playing out.
